Women’s Issues

It’s an exciting time to be a woman!

We live in a time where there is a generation of God's daughters rising from the ashes of fear, shame, insecurity, and despair, discovering they are designed for a purpose, on purpose by God. Creation allows us to catch a glimpse of God's unique creativity with all its beauty, potential, and interrelationship. Individually and collectively, women bring God-given gifts to life.

We have so many choices in expressing ourselves – careers, family, interests, and friends.

We’ve come so far!

All this freedom, and yet life often feels like a burden, like one significant demand. We are tired.

There is a lot of pressure for women to "have it all." On television and social media, you see women with smiles on their faces while juggling the many different parts of their lives.

Or you've unknowingly bought into the lives of "all" and "should," sacrificing their dreams, their emotional and/or physical health, their bodies, their self-esteem, and their energy.  Eventually, they wonder who they are and what they want. Beneath it all simmers the message of "not good enough," or heavy emotions like anxiety, anger, and resentment.

This may make you feel insecure. Because, right now, you may find it hard to be joyful.

But that is okay. You don’t have to be anywhere other than exactly where you are right now. In fact, where you are now is a great place to start recapturing the joy you once felt.

The issues you are having are unique. But the good news is, here at Therapy for Women Beverly Hills, treat women’s issues by addressing all the parts of your life that come together to form what it means to you to be a woman.
