MEKA, LPC-ASSOCIATE

Therapist

Life tends to create challenges that may seem impossible to overcome. However, given the proper tools, we all have the ability to restructure our lives. My goal is to provide a collaborative approach to find a healthy balance in your life. In an environment free from judgment, I will provide a safe space where you can explore and address problems and concerns in your life.

I am a licensed professional counselor associate (LPC-A), under the supervision of Sigrid Nikkea Jones, MA, NCC, LPC-S.

I work with teens, young adults, and adult women in individual and group therapy who are struggling with a variety of issues to include anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), emotional trauma related to abuse or violence, stress, and relational conflict.

My style of therapy includes examining the events taking place currently in your life to gain a better understanding of your behavior. I use a cognitive behavioral approach, as well as a solution focused approach to identify patterns of thinking and behavior to collectively come up with a solution.
